Here's young Ezio from Assassin's Creed 2, which I just started playing (yes, he does have a scar on his lip). Just a quick, 20-30 minute sketch. I'm going to try to do shorter sketches again because I've been going way overboard lately (THANKS, GEORGE COSTANZA).   I may even use a timer to enforce it.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! I will never be good at realistic painting (even digitally), so this is as good as a quickie will get for me. Don't hate.

• A woman’s risk of breast cancer approximately doubles if she has a first-degree relative (mother, sister, daughter) who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. About 20-30% of women diagnosed with breast cancer have a family history of breast cancer.
  

• About 70-80% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. These occur due to genetic abnormalities that happen as a result of the aging process and life in general, rather than inherited mutations.

Kim and Aggie

I absolutely love watching "How Clean Is Your House." There's something oddly pleasing and therapeutic in watching two British ladies scold people for having messy homes. I guess it's because I know that no matter how messy my apartment may look at times, it's not as bad as the houses on the show.

I needed a morale boost so I did a self portrait of sorts. GIRL POWA!!! Mind you, it doesn't look very much like me, but at least I tried to include my round nose.

One of my absolute favorite shows when i was a kid. I may or may not do all 4 turtles... we'll see.

I hope it looks like he's doing a flying attack of some sort. Grant just thought he was being all gangsta. Wahh.

Yes. I know. Guilty as charged. World of Warcraft has forever tainted my past. Don't judge. Or do, if it amuses you. It seems like such a long time ago... You know, pre-baby, when everything was different.

This was my priest Tarantella (a.k.a. HEALPLZ). The cool thing about being a healer is... everyone needs healing. So you're almost like a household appliance. Or deodorant. You don't really think about it until you really need it. And if you don't have it nearby you freak out and break out into a sweat. Buh-dun-DUN!

My Backpack's Got Jets!

I missed a day yesterday! Oh, well. I decided I'd rather get more sleep rather than stress about it. A good decision, if I do say so myself. In any case, here's the finished shaded version of the colored drawing. I probably won't add a background. Sadly, they're not my thing. Mostly because I stink at them. The original drawing is a lot bigger and more detailed. A lot of that was lost with the shrinkage. Mehhh... probably a good thing.

The Impossible Duel - colored WIP

Not quite done yet, but at least the base colors are down. I'm not great at coloring/shading, so we'll see what tomorrow's version will look like.
